E-Fits

Electronic Facial Identification Technique, or e-fit, is a computer-based method of piecing together a picture of a suspect in a criminal investigation when no photograph is available. However, over the years some of the images produced by police forces around the world have come in for ridicule. Here are a few of the worst (or best?):
Have you seen this man?: Cheshire Police have released an e-fit of a man who entered the Park Tavern in Macclesfield at around 6.45pm on January 12, ordered a drink and sat alone at the bar. He was seen acting in an odd manner and witnesses noticed a number of AA batteries in a plastic case around his waist. Facebook users like Gem (inset) have taken to social media to ridicule the e-fit.
